Logistics cannot correct vehicle-identification errors. Before concluding the transaction, verify the seller, VIN or other identifier, make, model, year of manufacture, powertrain type, weight, dimensions and specification. The documents should not contain any contradictions between the invoice, specification and actual marking. For a used car, mileage, visible damage, presence of keys and operability are additionally recorded, without passing off the external inspection as technical diagnostics.

Before payment, confirm that the vehicle can be exported from China, imported into Belarus, cleared through customs, assessed for conformity and subsequently registered. Requirements depend on vehicle characteristics, new or used status, intended use and applicable regulations. These questions are confirmed with the customs representative, conformity assessment authority and registration authority. The carrier can collect the documents and itinerary, but must not guarantee the legal result without competent verification.

A car transporter suits batches of standard-size vehicles and shares transport capacity among several units. Open transport requires proper securing and exposes the vehicle to the road environment. Enclosed transport reduces external exposure and may suit high-value or sensitive vehicles, although availability and cost vary. For a single vehicle, compare shared capacity with a dedicated movement.

The container can protect the vehicle from precipitation and access, but requires proper loading, securing, safe clearances and the ability to unload at the destination. In a container, you cannot rely on the parking brake alone. The wheels are fixed, and fastenings are made according to an agreed pattern to the permissible points. For a large SUV or commercial vehicle, the door opening, internal geometry and weight of the dedicated equipment are first checked.

A traction lithium battery requires a separate transport-chain assessment. Provide the operator with the requested battery type, rated energy, weight, condition and manufacturer’s documents. Requirements differ for a new serviceable vehicle, a damaged vehicle and a battery shipped separately. Damage to the battery casing, signs of overheating, flooding or a diagnostic fault may materially change the permissible transport method or make the selected service unavailable.

Set the state of charge in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the specific operator or transport mode. No single percentage applies to every route. Before handover, disable user functions that may drain the battery where the manual permits, and record the instrument-panel readings. Hand over the keys under the agreed procedure and activate transport mode only as instructed in the model-specific manual. List and secure the charging cable and accessories separately.

Dangerous-goods rules depend on the transport mode, battery condition and shipment configuration. The mere presence of a battery does not, without assessment, justify declaring the vehicle exempt from every requirement or, conversely, prohibiting its transport. Agree the classification, packaging of damaged components, marks and documents with a qualified specialist and the selected carrier before the vehicle or other transport equipment is positioned.

The commercial document set normally includes the contract or other transaction document, commercial invoice, specification and any proof of payment required by the parties. Prepare the appropriate declarations and transport documents for export, transit and import. The vehicle documents must link it unambiguously to its VIN and specifications. Determine the required forms and translations for the particular transaction and route rather than relying on a universal list.

A separate document group covers conformity and registration. Its contents vary with the vehicle category and condition. Before dispatch, obtain written guidance from a relevant specialist on the evidence required so that a missing manufacturer’s document is not discovered only after arrival. For an electric vehicle, the carrier or operator may also request battery and test information. A transport document does not by itself confirm that the vehicle is approved for use.

Prepare a condition report before loading. Photograph the vehicle from every side and, where possible, the roof, glazing, wheels, interior, instrument panel, VIN, mileage and battery charge or fuel level. Existing scratches, dents and completeness are recorded separately. The files are linked to time and vehicle identifier. When transferring between operators, control of key areas is repeated to maintain the chain of observations.

Personal belongings must not be left in the passenger compartment without written approval: they may fall outside the contract and raise questions during inspections. Fuel, fluids, the alarm system, keys and transmission mode must be set as specified in the transport instructions and vehicle manual. For a non-running vehicle, blocked wheels, faulty brakes and a missing towing eye must be reported in advance so that the site can prepare suitable handling equipment.

The price depends on the transport method, number and dimensions of the vehicles, collection point, route, season, loading work, storage, insurance and vehicle condition. There is no universal electric-vehicle surcharge: the requirements of the particular service may change the process and its cost. Lead time includes waiting for capacity, vehicle positioning, export and transit procedures, the main movement, transshipments, import clearance and release. The estimate is therefore given as a range and updated before booking.

If a discrepancy is found, preserve the evidence and make no repairs before the agreed inspection except where necessary to prevent immediate danger. Verify insurance cover, deductible and exclusions before dispatch. Carrier liability and eligibility for registration are separate matters: the first follows the transport relationship and contract; the second follows applicable government requirements.
